The New Jersey Senate Budget Committee unanimously voted to pass S438 (Smith/Codey) by an overwhelming bipartisan vote which will transfer management to the New Jersey School of Conversation from Montclair State University to the Friends of the New Jersey School of Conservation (NJSOC). The Jersey Renews coalition, representing 37 labor, environmental, community and faith organizations, thanked 10 legislators who support ending the raids on the Clean Energy Fund in the FY23 Budget.  Led by Senator Zwicker, the prime sponsor of Senate Budget Resolution S. 373, these legislators seek to end the diversion of $83.6 million in the FY’23 Budget, which is more than 23% of the total Clean Energy Fund.
